| Background: Born and raised in Hawai'i, Stacie-Dee relocated to the Puget Sound area in 1984. She has practiced in the family/juvenile courts for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in adoption, divorce, custody and child support, juvenile law, non-parental custody, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and cohabitation and separation agreements. Stacie-Dee has been an attorney since 1991. She served as Deputy Prosecutor for the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office from 1991 to 1994. She has focused her practice on family and juvenile law since 1994. Education: Stacie-Dee attended college at Pacific Lutheran University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Legal Studies. She was awarded a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Washington in 1989. Community: From 1997 to 1999, Stacie-Dee was appointed as the Guardian ad Litem for cases involving abused and neglected children in Thurston County. She served as faculty for the 1999 Thurston County Family Court Guardian ad Litem Training. She served on the Board of Directors for the Thurston County Bar Association from 2000-2004 and is a former president of the Capital Area Youth Symphony Association (CAYSA). Stacie-Dee is also a volunteer mentor at the Thurston County Volunteer Legal Clinic, and she is on the Board of Directors of the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County.
