Nate joined our firm in 2011, bringing with him experience in the areas of family law (divorce, child custody and support, protection orders), juvenile law (dependencies and protection/anti-harassment orders), criminal law (misdemeanors) and traffic law(criminal and non-criminal).
Prior to joining the firm, Nate practiced for a firm in Clark County (WA) and for firms in Thurston County. He has served as the Title 13 Guardian ad Litem for Thurston County, as well as a parents’ representation attorney for dependency matters in Clark County through a contract with the Office of Public Defense. He currently takes court-appointed cases in order to provide legal representation for children, in addition to his private practice. Nate received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Evansville (Indiana), and his Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio.
Nate is a member of the Thurston County Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association. He is also a member of the West Olympia Rotary, where he has served on the Board of Directors and as the club’s Youth Exchange Officer.
