Meserve and Szurszewski receive Bud Koons Leadership Award

Christina Meserve and Charles Szurszewski received the Bud Koons Leadership Award from The Evergreen State College Foundation. The Bud Koons award, named after a long-time Foundation Board member and major donor to the College, is awarded to one person or couple annually who have made significant contributions to the college. Meserve is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Foundation, a former member of the college's Board of Trustees, a former alumni association president, and a member of the college's first four-year graduating class. Szurszewski married in. The award was presented at the College's 40th Anniversary celebration dinner on May 17, 2012. Carl Meserve, Christina's father, accepted the award on the couple's behalf.

CTM Sponsors Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services

CTM was a sponsor of the Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services annual breakfast and fundraiser. Volunteer Legal Services provides free representation to low income individuals in Thurston and Mason Counties and runs a clinic so that low-income persons can get help in representing themselves in family law cases. The attorneys of CTM volunteer at the legal clinic on a regular basis.
